Irrespective of the Clan’s legendary status, many of the show’s viewers can relate to the struggles associated with paying bills and rent, raising a family with meager means, and simply surviving the everyday rigors of life. It can be easy to sometimes forget many of the entertainers we hold in high regard are human beings at the end of the day. However, An American Saga goes to great efforts to show audiences the Clan’s humanity once they’re away from the glitz and glamour. People unfamiliar with the Wu might write them off as another gangster rap group from New York.
